Photography

This photograph is titled "Flamboyance" meaning the quality of being bright, colorful, and very noticeable. This is a photograph I took at the botanical gardens of Cheekwood. I named it Flamboyance due to the brightness in color.

This photograph titled "Intruder" is the first piece in my Dreams sustained investigation. It is based off of dreams where there are bugs crawling inside of you - hence the name Intruder.

This photograph titled "Collide" is a photograph I took of oil and water during my second year of Digital Arts and Design. I named it Collide as it is a photograph of oil and water colliding.

"Lucidity" is another piece in my Dreams sustained investigation. I based this project off of lucid dreams - or the feeling of Lucidity where you are aware that you are dreaming.

"Phasing" is one of the first pieces I have felt true pride in. I made this piece in my second year of Digital Arts and Design for a triptych project. I titled it Phasing due to the effect that the subject is phasing through time.

This photograph titled "Serenity" is a photograph I took whilst inside of the Blue Pesher inside of Cheekwood. I titled it Serenity because it brings a sense of piece and calmness due to the simplicity of the picture. 

This photograph is titled "Pyrophobia" meaning fear of fire. This photograph is another piece in my Dreams sustained investigation based off of dreams where you are on fire. 

"Doppelgänger" is the title I chose for this photograph which is a word meaning a clone or doubled version of yourself. This is another piece of my Dreams sustained investigation based on dreams where you see yourself.

"Colorful Existence" is a photograph I took at the Cheekwood botanical gardens. I named this Colorful Existence because of the bright colors of the flowers, and how it reminds me of the saying "living life in color".

This photograph title "Day Dreamer" is another piece in my Dreams portfolio based off of daydreaming. The eye on the subjects forehead symbolizes the idea of an open eye in the dream world while the rest of the subject is still in reality. 

"Old News" is a photograph I took while out with my mother. I took this photo because I was drawn to the brightness of the newspaper box. I named it Old News because of how little people have relied on news papers as we get older.

This photograph titled "Falling" is another piece in my Dreams portfolio. I titled this piece Falling because it is based off of dreams where you are falling through the air - when in reality you are probably just falling off of your bed.

This photograph titled "Luminescence" is a photograph of a flower which I took at Cheekwood. I titled this piece Luminescence because this flower reminds me of moon light.

"Suffocating" is a piece that I made as a sequel to the earlier piece titled Phasing. I made this piece in my second year of Digital Arts and Design. I titled it Suffocating because it captures how someone could be smiling on the outside while terrified and suffocating in their true hidden feelings on the inside.
